Membership Information

Spirited and dedicated volunteers: that describes members of the Ohio Valley Wing. You can join too! We restore and fly World War II aircraft. We honor those who built them, kept them flying, and flew them. And we have fun and good company all along way. Attending airshows and operating the Wing’s PX truck are just part of membership in the Wing. The stories told and the stories made during OVW activities are often the real excitement. And who can top watching warbirds fly, or speaking to those who flew them in combat, or even taking a flight in one yourself?

Membership in the OVW is preceded by a requirement to join the Commemorative Air Force (CAF). Our international organization provides DISPATCH, a monthly magazine for CAF colonels. Members can also enjoy the annual AIRSHO. It is held at CAF HQ during late September in Midland, Texas.

Ask any colonel of the Ohio Valley Wing who's attended; it's fun, it's flying, and it's the BIG event for all members.
